When we say we build community, we mean it.
She Bends uses the stage of its exhibitions to educate the public on our storied medium and highlight womxn who may not be bending glass, but are taking swings at the glass ceiling in their industries.
Salon Dinners
Our salon dinners allow us to highlight women chefs who are using fire to make their own kind of art. These dinners create a platform for She Bends and our partners to invite a curated guest list of thought-leaders and artists to engage in important dialogue while making lasting connections.
Opening party
With music from women musicians and drinks flowing by partner brands, the opening party is a time for the public to feel the glow of our neon exhibit and mingle with our artists.
live demos
There is no better way to understand our trade than seeing us in the fires. We always have our artists performing live bending demos and fielding questions from a curious crowd. Ever wonder how you get so many colors in neon?
community talks
Our curated talks span topics from the history of neon to best practices for independent artists. We reach out to local collectives and groups to contribute to the conversations and to ensure we’re always growing our community.
Whats Next?
We’re always up for the challenge of our next exhibition, working into our programming a new location, new communities and new partners.
